Pride? / Orgulho?

Caption: Flag leftovers
Legenda: Restos de bandeira

One single letter and a reputation went out the window just like an arrow that doesn't meet the target. Thus, the green is not so living. The yellow is gold, but fool's gold, and the blue of liberty is meaningless when we write our origin in the wrong way. And we only think of ourselves, in the glories of the past. We say: Brazil.

Falamos: Brazil.

Navegar é preciso... / Sailing is needed...

Caption: Sailing
Legenda: Navegar

We all have already heard of sailing in strange waters and that all the people are welcome aboard. What people hardly notice is that the real sailors are long gone. Our metaphors, souvenirs and sailing stories to sleep on become part of a past that we're not sure we understand. More and more the present makes sure to erase (and that's a strong word for it!) the things that came first. To think of that when facing all this technology available sounds insane. Maybe that's what strange waters is all about. Yet, not sure if everyone is welcome aboard.

Talvez essas sejam as águas desconhecidas.

Free of charge / De graça

Caption: Freedom
Legenda: Liberdade

Enough with the talking that freedom is to do whatever you want whenever you want without affecting your neighbor's. That's just not right. People are prisioners with their low pleasures with a dangerous sensation that they are free. Freedom's not a place. It's not a style. It's not an ideology. Freedom is what the birds have.

The light factor / O fator luz

Caption: The light attraction

Every one of them, full of holographic visions, searched unceasingly the incandescent spot, fantastic, continuous. Almost at the umpteenth time around it they get into despair so that the referring light, strongly chased, heat their frail bodies up, lifeless afterwards.
